Foundational Movement Practice Two: 16 Minutes

This is a 16-minute practice going through the foundational patterns. This can be used to either start your day or to prepare for more strenuous activity. The sequence of the patterns is varied from our shorter 7-minute practice.

Practicing these five movement patterns in some way, every day, can help retrain your body to move more efficiently, and in some cases improve posture and alleviate pain.

If you haven’t yet, check out the Mindful Minutes videos where Les discusses the context of movement goals with you. This is the place to get started: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCQACBUblTbX1oHzX9Se_OP8Iv7pEC-Zm

Take a look at the short break down of each of the 5 movement patterns before practicing this sequence: http://themindfulmovement.com/blog/five-foundational-movement-patterns/

Stay tuned for more to come. Let us know if there is a topic you would like to hear about or if you have any questions about the movement patterns.
