How to Deepen Your Mindful Transformation (without fear, anxiety, or 2nd thoughts)

I’m always so excited when I receive stories like the one below. It makes sense to begin your meditation journey in small, compounding steps. And then, you may begin to hunger for a deeper transformational experience. 

Here’s how one of the recent Oasis members found her way to meditation and mindfulness, and the profound mindset shifts and actions she discovered as a result: 

“In August of 2020, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Waiting for my 2nd surgery created a great deal of anxiety. As often happens in hard situations, the right help shows up at the right time. A book about meditation found its way into my hands, and the breathing techniques I learned helped me tremendously on the morning of my surgery. 

Shortly afterward, my doctors discovered that I have a genetic mutation. Though I am doing fine now, this means that for the rest of my life I am at a higher risk for certain cancers.  I had no idea how I was going to live with this over my head.  Once again I went back to what I had learned from the meditation book and found relief.  

After some practice and consistency with meditation, I feel I am In a beautiful transformation! Then, I found your online videos about mindfulness and lovingkindness. With all these resources,  I’m learning to live in the moment, appreciate and see what is around me, and extend my loving-kindness to others–visibly.

I had always been a person who looked into the future and worried about what could happen. But I realized if I continued to do this I would not be happy or have peace. 

 It’s a long story to say that mediation has given me such peace and is allowing me to become the person I always wanted to be. I feel IT IS THE ANSWER for me. I look forward to what lies ahead, especially with your group.  I can now tell others they made a difference in my life.
