This is beautiful. Teared up. Hits a nerve on accepting impermanence is a part of life.

    • Sara Raymond on 12/02/2016 at 1:15 PM

Mindy, I am glad you enjoyed. Laura has a beautiful perspective on impermanence that we can all learn from and reduce our suffering. Thank you for listening.

This is so great! I look forward to all the things I will learn as a recent ytt200hr grad. I’d love to learn more about “holding space” and really seeing and being present with people both on and off the mat, how to deeply connect with people and tips on making them feel seen, heard, known and validated on their journeys.

    • Sara Raymond on 12/03/2016 at 11:14 PM

Thank you, Justine! I am glad you enjoyed the first episode. Many more to come. Every Wednesday a new episode will be published. Thank you for your support!

Dear Sara, I just eant to leave you s note of thanks. I own my own company and several things are going on. 1. Child Abuse from dad from 5 to 12 and other relatives. 2. Burned with coffee at 2 years old. , mom and dad were alcoholics and Dad use to beat Mom up all the time. I lost my two brothers age 37 and 56 due to cancer and hep C. Dad died when I was 19 and Mom at she 60 when I was 34. I became the parent (basically) for my youngest siblings growing up. I also became the “Responsible One”. I believe since about 12. I had to do all the Maine chores, take care of the shopping, make sure Mom got home safely from her Friday night out. I remember even driving her home when I did not have a license because I did not want to die in the car with her. As a result of all of this, I face many of the very real lack of love for my self, lack of anything in fact. I am very depressed. I had double brain surgery in 2013, have had a glider on my thyroid which caused my right to be removed. I have had 3 feed operations for bunion and a c5 in my neck. Also have fused S1 Joints, leaky veins, etc. The list goes on and on. I am afraid of people yelling at me and saying that I failed them.

Bottom line, I am listening to your meditation two to three times a day. I just want to say, you are by far! The best that I have heard yo calm me down. Thank you for what you do. While my business is lacking due to what has happened to me, I am trying to hold myself together.

Sara, Grateful and honored to practice mediation and yoga with you. You have a wonderful clear and welcoming voice. I am a 74 years and my husband is 76; we both practice bed time yoga with you. We also ride our bikes for exercise and appreciate Mother Nature’s gifts. Today I was searching for a stretching and balancing yoga class and came across your podcast. As we age we need to practice balance. I am also searching for a mediation while riding my bike. I listen to your affirmation while riding and those are of great value to me. of course, I cannot close my eyes. Hee Hee. Again, thank you for all that you do.

Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself and share your kind words! I am grateful to be able to help. And yes, please don’t close your eyes when you are riding your bike!
