Breath Practice for Balancing Strength with Stillness
In this breath practice, Les guides Sara and YOU, the audience, through his favorite breath technique. This pattern, referred to as strong yogic breathing or bhastrika pranayama, begins with powerful breaths that set the stage for extended exhale holds. You may be surprised at how long you can comfortably remain still and hold your breath when you prepare the body.
Please listen to you body as you follow along and honor what it is saying. If this practice is too intense, please back off or try it another day. That being said, this can be such a powerful practice leading to incredibly positive sensations, so if it feels right, then surrender into the moment and discover what your practice can offer you. Enjoy!
