I’m SO glad you’re here. When you read my notes and allow in some new education about your brain, meditation, or hypnotherapy, you’re in a process of evolution, even if you’ve NEVER thought about working with me privately.
My clients (mostly) struggle with shame and unworthiness. Which shows up like this, lately:
- Excess weight—one client kept prioritizing everyone else over herself to feel worthy and valuable, so she stayed disconnected from her body and her real needs for movement and nourishment…
- Generalized fear of leaving the house–one client relied on other people to feel safe and secure…
- Relentless achievement without fulfillment— i.e., being very successful, but it’s still never enough. One client was in a fear-based drive to achieve for achievement’s sake, because that’s how he felt “good enough” and valuable.
- Attracting alcoholics and narcissists in relationships—one client kept magnetizing toxic partners, because they are very much like one of her parents.
- Porn addiction and sex addiction–it’s a shame-cycle. One client hid the behavior and tried to stop, but the behavior felt comforting and temporarily alleviated the shame, so he continued to do it and couldn’t find his own way out of the hamster-wheel.
With ALL of these clients, I helped them confront the shame they felt—all the way back to when they first created the inner belief that they were bad, broken, or unlovable.
Then, we work on HEALING that original wound. Which is a process of building trust and comfort in the hypnotherapy relationship.
Finally, I could help them discover and practice NEW self-soothing, self-regulating behaviors that did NOT pile on any more shame.
Because when you finally feel and worthy and loveable, you might:
- Stop seeking sexual partners outside of your intimate relationship.
- Leave an unhealthy marriage or relationship you could not leave in the past.
- Stop tolerating verbal or physical abuse and get yourself to safety that sticks.
- Recognize that your employer needs you more than you need them—and then negotiate a change in salary or schedule.
- Make healthier choices for your body—and notice weight loss because it’s now EASY to prioritize yourself with nourishing food and enjoyable physical activity.
